Usually in search of what is “different from our country”, travelers are not so excited to discover their own region.​ What if Booking.com could help Latin Americans to (re)discover Latin America?​
Through research conducted in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico, we asked Latin American travelers how Booking.com could encourage their plans by understanding their travel behaviors. Therefore, we created a platform to generate conversations through a program divided into four steps: we conducted a press conference and photographic exhibition about Latin America in São Paulo; we carried out a press trip to the “São João” festivities in Caruaru (Pernambuco) and created the informative website “Loco Por Ti”; we organized events with journalists in São Paulo and Buenos Aires to disclose data about women who travel on their own; and we released survey data to the press about trips focused on volunteer work.​by medical specialists.
